Ernest Turc dahlias at Sables d’Olonne

Stroll around the park of the Roseraie des Sables d’Olonne amidst Ernest Turc dahlias!

Some time this summer on a sunny day take the opportunity of visiting the park Roseraie des Sables d’Olonne where you can find roses, hydrangeas, bamboos, cannas and above all dahlias. More than 70 varieties of Label Rouge dahlias are grown here each year in partnership with the organization Excellence Végétale, amongst which are some from Ernest Turc’s collection. This year saw the occasion of a Critérium (competition) of dahlias during which visitors to the garden judged the flowers. A large variety of forms and colours which were chosen for their ornamental qualities and appeal.
